Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Sparrow was born in McComb (Mississippi) on December 2, 1981 and moved to Kentwood (Louisiana). When she was a kid, Britney attended dance classes and excelled in gymnastics, winning numerous contests and other similar. Britney was a fantastic singer and dancer. Britney was 8 years old when the time came for her to join The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989), however, her young age led to her being denied. Then, she was directed to "Ruthless" Off-Broadway production, where she starred in the role of the title persona for two years. She attempted to reprise her role for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) in this time playing a mouseketeer. Her big break, however, was after she was signed an artist with Jive Records in the latter part of the 90s. Britney was a huge success following her first album, "Baby one more time." "...Baby another time" in 1999. She also sold 13 million copies (as of July 2001) of her follow-up album "Oops !...I did it Again" and was released in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears. She has one of her brothers Bryan Spears and a little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was always destined to be the next big thing from an early age. Britney loved singing and was influenced by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. After having a lot of vocal and dance classes, and appearing in various show and fairs Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) television series between 1989 and 1994 when she was just 8years old, however, she was too young to get the part. Instead, Britney, her mother and baby sister moved to New York where she starred in numerous TV ads and in an off-Broadway play, "Ruthless", where she was understudy with Natalie Portman. Two years later, her love of dance and music became her main focus. Britney auditioned once more to be a part of "Mickey Mouse" and was chosen with Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera Christina Aguilera, as well as Justin Timberlake.
