Anna Kendrick was born to Janice
(Cooke), an accounting professional, and William Kendrick (a teacher). Her
older brother is, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who has also appeared in. She is from
English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her performance in the show
"Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was
nominated for a Tony Award (second youngest ever) and the Drama Desk Award, and
a Fany Award (best actress featured in the musical). Her spectacular
performance was rewarded with the Drama League and Theatre World Award.She was
a lead singer with Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live" in
