Tramar Lacel Daillard
Tramar Lacel, more popularly known under
his stage name Flo Rida (American rapper singer and songwriter) is a Carol
City, Florida-based artist, composer, and songwriter. The 2008 track
"Low" reached number one for a total of 10 weeks straight in the United
States. It also set a record for digital download sales at the time. The debut
album of Flo Rida called 2008's Mail on Sunday, reached fourth in the US.
R.O.O.T.S. followed the album in the US. The albums that followed included the
2010's Only One Flo Part 1 and 2012's Wild Ones charted on US Billboard 200
charts. Flo Rida's international sales of over 80 million albums have made him
one the most successful artists in the music industry. His catalogue includes
international hits such as "Right Round", Club Can't Handle Me"
and "Good Feeling". ", as well as "My House". Mail on
Sunday, Flo Rida's debut album, debuted in March 2008. The album's first single
was "Low", featuring T-Pain, which was also included in the
soundtrack for the film Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low" made it to the
top spot at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Elevator",
featuring Timbaland and "In the Ayer" featuring will.i.am as well as
"Roll" with Sean Kingston. Both charted on the Hot 100 as well. Mail
featured many guests on Sunday, including T-Pain. Timbaland who was the
producer of the second single "Elevator", is also included on the
track. Rick Ross, Trey Songz and Trey also appeared. Lil Wayne appeared on the
track "American Superstar" as did Sean Kingston appeared on the J. R.
Rotem-produced "Roll" that was co-written by Compton rapper Spitfiya.
Birdman, Brisco, as well as Yung Jock are among the other guests. The fourth
track was supposed to be "Money Right" with Rick Ross and Brisco, but
the song was scrapped due to the forthcoming release R.O.O.T.S., Flo Rida’s
second studio album. The singer recorded his second collaboration with T.Pain,
"I Bet" and his collaborative work with Trina (titled "Bout
It").
