Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. She was born on 11th November 1966. She made her debut in a Bond film called A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Donevan as A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having played alongside Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Final Crusade. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Following her move to Hollywood, Doody became an international star. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson's part. She then played Flannery Sheen's lover and agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II was released in 1994. After a long absence from the stage Doody came back to acting, with a small role in 2003 British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine playing herself in an awards ceremony scene. In 2004, she appeared alongside Patrick Swayze as a television adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. She played a role as a character in Benjamin's Struggle, a 2005 booklet on the Holocaust. in 2010 Doody was a character of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). She guested in RTE's medical drama The Clinic. The project was later canceled. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season of two seasons. In 2014, she starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018 she received the Almeria tierra de Cine Award and received a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
