Aisha Jamila Hinds is a known American actress. Her most well-known role is the roles she played on television series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has demonstrated her versatility in acting by providing outstanding performances on television programs like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in the 2005 film Assault on Precinct 13. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the Women's Right activist Fannie Lou Hammer attracted her to the attention of the world at large. Hind's performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground received a lot of praise. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season. Hind just wrapped production on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters and will come out in the middle of the year. Her father Krishnaraj who was who was an Army Scientist, who passed away on the 18th of March 2017. She and her mother Vrinda are both homemakers.
